We have finally been gifted with cold temps! Some days have even been cold enough that only the die hards leave the warmth of home. My climbing for fun has been limited this month but I've had a blast taking a couple groups a week out to Serenity Falls which has stayed in excellent condition all year, aside from lots of snow on the lower angle ice.
Almost two weeks ago we took a day trip to Mission Falls and the ice was fat and steep! It had everything from WI3-WI5 with some steep mixed climbing in between. The snow was deep but we followed the tracks of some college aged climbers and thanked them for doing the hard work.
