A frozen waterfall in a beautiful canyon. This waterfall has two tiers, one is 20 feet tall and the other 60 feet. This is a Full Day climb option.

With a short 15 minute hike in, we will gear up and work on basic ice climbing skills on the 20 ft. falls before rappelling and climbing the 60 ft. waterfall.

This is the most beginner friendly location.

Bring a lunch and a 30-40L backpack for this unique climbing experience.
Stone hill

This Full Day option has beautiful scenery and longer, slightly more challenging climbs.

Directions- After passing through Eureka, turn Left onto Hwy 37 just after the gas station. Stay on Hwy 37 for 16.5 miles. You will pass the Koocanusa bridge and continue 2 miles until you start to see large ice formations on the roadside cliffs.

Just a two minute walk up the hill, you will be at the base of these 30-40 foot tall ice climbs.

Directions- After leaving Columbia Falls heading East on Hwy 2, 1/2 mile past the Montana House of Mystery, there will be a large pullout on the right. This is our meeting spot. If you end up in Hungry Horse you've gone too far.
